I see both Judy Kim for skincare needs and Jacqueline for injectables. Judy is so great and treated me 3 times with Moxi laser for my light melasma and has also given me a hydrafacial after the pigmentation flakes off. Just is so attentive and treats every part of my face individually and even had me come back for touches up when we didn’t see a huge improvement in certain areas. Treatment Technique
To start your session, your esthetician can administer a topical anesthetic to the treatment areas to ensure your optimal comfort. The threads are prepared in needles that are preloaded with a polydioxanone suture, which is then placed into the skin. After we mark your skin for precise placement, the sutures are placed through the tissues of the face and neck, then pulled to create a lifted but natural look. These nonsurgical sutures are incredibly safe and have even been used during open-heart surgery. The skin will absorb the PDO novathreads over time, which will then dissolve after 4 – 6 months. In this time, your body's natural production of collagen will help to repair, lift, and tighten the skin. If any threads are leftover from your procedure, they will be removed.
What to expect
Following your ThreadLift, you will see an immediate improvement in your skin that will continue to look better as your body's production of collagen increases and supplements your results. Your fullest outcomes will become visible about 4 – 6 months after your treatment. Unlike surgical alternatives, there is no downtime associated with the ThreadLift. You may experience some tenderness, swelling, or bruising for up to three days post-procedure. A member of our team will go over everything you can expect to see in the weeks following. We will also provide an estimated time to receive a touch-up treatment, which is typically needed after 2 – 3 years.
