The Material Girl Gets Her First Facial

"I stopped by 3000BC Med Spa in Chestnut Hill and it was a beautiful spa! They have such a nice, relaxing vibe to it and the women that worked there were so great. I started off with a Visia scan which is a quick four photos and then it’s broken down into different categories of problem areas like redness, pores, wrinkles etc.
My biggest problem was sun damage. It was scary to see. Being from Miami, I was constantly in the sun. Unfortunately, when I was younger, all I cared about was being tan and never wore sunscreen. The aesthetician could not stress enough how important it is to wear sunscreen everyday. I know we hear this all the time, but we always wait until it’s too late. In this case, it is much much better to be safe than sorry.
Then, it was time for my Hydrafacial! Here is the full explanation of the procedure, but I will try my best to break it down for you. The Hydrafacial uses these special suctions to cleanse and extract while pushing in product to your pores at the same time. It’s a pretty cool feeling! There are a few steps, but basically your face is cleansed, then a peel is done and then moisturized. I even got a Britenol boost which is for some extra brightness. Then, comes a little massage and voila! You’re all done.
Guys, I felt so beautiful!!! My skin was so flawless. I didn’t even wear makeup for the two days after that. I just loved staring at my skin haha. Granted, I was a little red from the peel, but that was gone after about an hour. Like I mentioned before, this was my first ever facial and now I’m definitely going to be going back at least twice a year! 3000BC spa offers a ton of amazing services such as laser hair removal, spray tan and massages. Check out their full list of services here! And, if you’re a Philly local, you should deff check them out ASAP."
