Microneedling RF powered by Cutera Secret RF

WHAT IS RADIOFREQUENCY MICRONEEDLING? We use a special technique that creates gorgeous outcomes for our patients with a treatment called radiofrequency (RF) microneedling. RF treatments have been around for a number of years and are popular in the cosmetic industry for their skin tightening effects. This specific type of therapy uses heat to promote the production of collagen in the deeper layers of the skin to create a firmer, smoother surface. This treatment can be used with microneedling to optimize the results. At Body+Beauty Lab, we often add this new advancement into our Philadelphia and Radnor, PA clients' skin care treatments to generate healthier skin, a smoother texture, and a luminous complexion. HOW DOES RF MICRONEEDLING WORK? RF microneedling uses a tool (with small needles at the end) that's rolled carefully around the skin to puncture and create micro-injuries that "disrupt" the cells and produce collagen. Some even refer to this as collagen induction therapy. New skin begins to grow as the skin begins to heal, leaving the surface looking and feeling smoother, brighter, and refreshed. Although this procedure is usually performed by itself, combining this advanced method with radiofrequency microneedling technologies has enabled us to optimize the outcomes for our Philadelphia and Radnor, PA patients. This practice is quite straightforward. The applicator, which emits radiofrequency heat, works by delivering short bursts of RF energy via an array of 25 sterile, golden microneedles. The energy is delivered via the needles, which simultaneously punctures your skin and circles back the electrodes into the surface of the skin. The RF energy warms at levels that offer cumulative and continuing benefits.
