Who is an Ideal Candidate for restylane?

Restylane injectable treatments are suitable for any woman or man older than 21 looking to rejuvenate their overall appearance. Since it has different formulas, your procedure will be individualized to suit your needs, concerns, and goals. Restylane can address the telltale signs of aging, such as fine lines on your face. It can also improve the fullness in your cheeks and lips along with moderate or severe wrinkles, like frown lines, laugh lines, Crow's feet, marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and more. Several of these treatments are mixed with lidocaine (a local anesthetic) so it's important that you discuss any allergies you have with your medical injector during your pre-treatment consultation to prevent a potentially negative reaction.

I’ve been to over a dozen med spas and injectors in the Philly area and after years of searching….THIS IS THE SPOT. I don’t say this often or lightly because I am a perfectionist and have a habit of not liking my final result…but Jacqueline is an amazing talented injector. She is clearly knowledgeable with the structure of the face and just GETS what looks good. She not only fixed what a previous injector failed to do correctly, but she also gave me the results I have been striving for for YEARS that I simply lost hope on. It’s so important to go to a qualified injector…I’m so relieved I found my place and person, can’t recommend enough.

How does restylane work?

Restylane dermal injections are performed in a treatment room at Body+Beauty Lab. A numbing cream may be applied to the treatment areas for greater comfort if you have any concerns about pain. The treatment is injected into your skin with a very fine needle and gently massaged so that it reaches the selected areas. Several injections may be performed followed by a cold compress to decrease inflammation. Every Restylane formula is injected with a similar technique but on different areas to suit your unique concerns and goals.

What can i Expect after restylane?

Once your Restylane procedure is completed, you can resume your typical routines. Your recovery timeframe will vary based on what you are having treated so it's important to ask your injector what you should expect. The treated areas may be slightly swollen and red, but this often goes away after several hours. Bruising may appear, but this can be camouflaged with cosmetics. It's suggested that you avoid strenuous activities, like exercise, for 1 – 2 days and you should sleep with your head propped up for at least the first night. Many patients will experience visible changes right after the injections, but it often takes 1 – 2 weeks for your final results to become visible. The outcomes reaped from Restylane treatments generally last about one year, depending on the formula used.

How much does Restylane cost?

Costs for Restylane treatments can depend on several things, like which product is selected, where it is used, and the amount of filler needed to achieve your ideal results. During your initial consultation, your injector will need to understand your areas of concerns before creating a customized injection plan. After this, costs can be estimated, and we can review your many payment options. We encourage clients to ask for information about our VIP membership program if you're interested in receiving special discounts and offers on a number of our services.

What is Restylane most commonly used for?

The Restylane family of dermal fillers are each formulated to help you look rejuvenated but natural. During your initial consultation, your injector will talk about the various Restylane products and help you to decide which best fits your needs. Restylane Refyne, Lyft, and Defyne improve mild, moderate, or deep lines, wrinkles, and folds while Restylane Lyft and Silk increase volume in your cheeks, hands, and lips.

How often do I need to come back for a touch-up?

Usually, your results can last from 6 – 18 months, but this will vary, depending on which formula is selected, the injection sites, and other factors. During your initial consultation, your injector will develop your Restylane treatment plan that will include when to schedule your next appointment to refreshen your appearance.

Do Restylane injections hurt?

There may be some discomfort as the fine needle is injected under your skin. Before your injection, a local anesthetic can be applied to help you feel more comfortable. Following your injections, we will apply a cold compress to minimize bruising and swelling.

Will I look fake after Restylane?

Restylane injections, when done by a skilled practitioner, produce gorgeous outcomes for patients with a range of goals and concerns. The unique Restylane formula will create a natural, soft look rather than one that appears artificial or frozen.
